A typical party takes about 4-6 hours total, this includes time spent from arrival to departure. One-one half hour for set up, two to two and a half hours for the activities and tea party and one hour for break down and clean up. A 50% deposit is required upon booking. Completion of payments can be made the day of the event.
Before arrival, tables and chair must be places in the area in where the party will take place. My assistant and/or I will take care of everything else! We do light decorations, activity/tea party set up, host, and clean up. Parents/Guests are welcome to participate (parental assistance is required for children under the age of 5), take photos, etc. All the parent of the Birthday Child really needs to do is entertain the adult guests (if they are not the ones having the tea party) and periodically check on the younger guests to ensure that everyone is behaving accordingly.
Upon arrival I will unload all the supplies in the area where the party will take place. Hand parent food/drink items that require refrigeration and start setting up.
During the event I will introduce myself and give a brief rundown of what’s to be expected and the rules/etiquettes of a tea party. After that, the party will commence. We will start with the activity. Then move on to dress up and tea party preparations; have the Tea Party, eat, and drink (have FUN). Once everyone is done with eating/teatime this is the best time to sing happy birthday.
Finally, I/we break down and clean the area for departure. The remaining balance will be made at this point and the event will have officially ended.
Packages start at $360 for up to 8 children. This comes with a themed activity like arts/craft, games, or spa treatment etc., a vintage suitcase filled with dress up accessories, light makeup applications, a mini mani, themed party favors, the Tea party, kids Fancy Tea or Pink lemonade, themed music, set up and clean up.
The Tea Party Lady provides the materials for the themed activity. A suite case of dress up material. Decorations for the tea party table this includes: a backdrop, table cover, décor, plates, cups (tea cups), napkins, Pink lemonade or kids friendly tea and goodie bags for the party goers.
Yes, for an additional cost per guest more kids are always welcome to attend the tea party. A second assistant is required for quality assurance.
The Tea Party Lady is a Traveling Tea Party Experience that with travel to your home, a Park, a hall or where ever you feel most comfortable.
No, I do not typically decorate the entire space, just the activity table and tea party table. Although for an additional cost that can be possible.
No, Tables and chairs are not included but are available for additional costs.
Parents are responsible for crowd/noise control and being sure all guests behave accordingly. Parents can also choose to participate in the activities or just hang back and relax.
I travel all of Massachusetts and most of New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
Yes, a traveling fee of $40 will be applied to your total balance for any location further than a 20 mile radius from the base location in Randolph, MA.
